Manifesto

At Singular Papers, we believe in the power of books as more than objects—they are expressions of human creativity and emotion. Our mission is to connect creators and readers globally, fostering a space where art, thought, and beauty come alive through printed and digital works.

At Singular Papers, we are inspired by beauty, art, thought, and the singularity of talent—each expressed through the tangible magic of printed matter.

2 —

We don’t just love books as objects, but as stories—an extension of the artists, writers, and publishers who bring them to life. Behind every book, there’s a voice, a vision, a human story waiting to connect. Our purpose is to bridge these stories, creating moments of connection between creators and readers, through art, text, and expression.

3 —

The independent publishing scene is vibrant and alive, yet often limited to events and spaces within local geographies. We see a world of possibility—building a global platform where creators can thrive, and their works can reach new audiences who might otherwise never encounter them.

4 —

We are more than a digital bookstore. We are a space for creative expression, committed to giving artists and publishers a platform to expand their visibility, reach new readers, and generate meaningful income.

5 —

Our promise to creators is simple: freedom and support. You have the control over your work, and we’ll give you the tools to bring it to the world. To readers, our promise is discovery and experience. We hope to inspire, provoke thought, and bring beauty into their lives through the singular voices of our creators.

6 —

Though we celebrate printed matter, we also embrace digital formats—sustainable, accessible, and a way to preserve works that may never be reprinted. Free content, too, has value. It’s a gateway for artists to be discovered, to broaden their reach, and to connect with new audiences.

7 —

Our philosophy is open. Yes, we curate, but we believe in providing an inclusive space where all styles, forms, and voices are welcome.

8 —

Our drive is connection. Connecting people to art, ideas, emotions, and experiences. Offering inspiration and beauty through the hands of singular creators. Books, as artistic expressions, should be accessible to all.

9 —

We’re ambitious. We aim to be a key player in the independent publishing industry, helping it grow globally. Other industries have achieved their dreams—why not us? It’ll take time, effort, and passion, but we’re ready for the journey.

10 —

Independent publishing is still regarded as a niche in certain areas, but we believe many more could be drawn to its beauty. Our mission is to grow this audience and make these voices heard.

  • Freedom —

Of thought, protest, style, format, proposal… A digital space open to everything and everyone.

  • Our mission: boost the independent publishing industry by connecting creators and independent publishers with new audiences to increase their sales, recognition, and community.
Many people ask us: “Why create this digital platform?” After much reflection on the publishing industry, we concluded that there is a vibrant community of creators, publishers artbook fairs, booksellers… but the audience remains small.
We believe this is because distribution channels now are primarily focused on local markets
  • That’s why we believe there is a space to create a global digital distribution channel that allows creators to connect with new audiences.
One of our clear goals as a project is to try to reach not only the audience that already knows artist books, zines and independent publishing scene, but also to start introducing this world to new audiences that are currently outside the circuit.
Working hard to expand the margins of the current scene and attract anyone with an interest in art, literature and creativity.
