It is a work-book in accordion format, which tells the story of my journey and that of my great-great-grandfather, transporting the viewer through the spatio-temporal changes that took place between them.

Its format is understood as a metamorphosis, where memory, trace and experience comple- ment each other in a support, which when ex- tended exposes the story as a spatio-temporal totality.

About — From a young age, Carla developed an interest in the visual arts, attending workshops with Daniel FUSro and Viviana Zargón. Between 2014 and 2018, she trained with Argentine artist Lucas Rocino, focusing on drawing and line work. In 2016, she began a Visual Arts degree at the National University of the Arts (Buenos Aires, Argentina), and from 2020, studied for a year and a half on a scholarship at the University of Vigo (Spain). In 2021, she was accepted into the ELISAVA Summer University for experimental editorial design and received a scholarship for the Pigments Revealed Symposium in the US. She also directed "Espazos Cóncavos y Convexos" and created "Hablemos de Arte", an online platform for interviews with key figures in art and culture. In 2022, she completed her studies and joined the "Instantes Gráficos" collective, participating in ArtsLibris and ARCO Madrid 2023. In 2023, she coordinated exhibitors at ArtsLibris and won the Javier Rosón Pérez Special Prize for Artist Books of Ankara Foundation, based in Madrid, Spain. Her work connects deeply with her daily life, memory, and perception of the world. The book as a medium has allowed her to unite her lifelong interests in art and design, giving her freedom to experiment with materials. Like Ulises Carrión, she views the book as a sequence of temporal spaces, adapting form and materials to each project. Her artistic journey is ongoing, evolving with each step forward. Her work has been exhibited in Argentina, Brazil, the US, Spain, and Portugal.
