Synopsis
Me perdí aims to bring to life in a book format the feeling of disorientation and abandonment that you experience when you feel lost, without direction, like being lost in a forest at night. This artist book is entirely black, from the ink to the paper, which is covered by a map of where this loss might have occurred. The only white element complements the material sense of the work.
About the author
Álvaro Varograff (Salamanca, 1992). Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, he is an illustrator specialized in printmaking and engraving techniques. He has developed his career around the book format, working with various techniques but always with special attention to paper and those tactile elements that make a work unique.
