About — Benschop Books is the publishing project of book artist and photographer Vera Benschop. Beginning as a self-publishing project, it has grown over time to include collaborations with other artists, including A. M. Sweeney, Erika Oakvik, Earl Standerford, Vann T. Powell, Jason and Keeley Bruner, Steven Ford, Judiht Hornbogen, and more upcoming.

The project aims to make photo book publishing possible (financially) for those who wish to pursue it. Books are designed with the content in mind so that form follows function as an art object. Books and zines alike are printed and handmade in Denver, Colorado by Vera Benschop.
