Eva explores the time between the ages of 20 and 25. In this phase, life changes drastically. Friendships take on new forms, the way of looking at lust and love grows up. Eva takes the viewer through this phase by dealing with her parents and looking back on her youth. A phase that partly takes place during corona, a housing crisis and a failed loan system. As a member of the pech generatie (unlucky generation), the photographer captures not only her own (autobiographical) experience, but also the universal insecurities that come with this phase. The insecurities of finding a place in a world that seems to be changing ever faster. Trying to find the definition of one’s own identity. This is captured through analogue city portraits, self-portraits, still lifes alternating with texts in the style of a diary.
