Synopsis
En la galería is a very special story in which Franz Kafka describes a situation of inertia and despair. A circus performance may not be what we perceive, distancing us from the usual association of fun and leaving us in the position of a sensitive spectator, ready to stop all the paraphernalia. Beauty and contradiction take center stage in another of Kafka’s tales, once again depicting the alienation of 20th-century man.
About the author
Álvaro Varograff (Salamanca, 1992). Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, he is an illustrator specialized in printmaking and engraving techniques. He has developed his career around the book format, working with various techniques but always with special attention to paper and the tactile elements that make a work unique.
