The end of Mishimas life is not less disturbing because it is known. During the last years of his existence, Mishima developed an apparently insane strategy that led him inexorably to an apocalyptic end. Following the thread of the extraordinary film by Paul Schrader, Mishima, a life in four acts we have carried out our own investigation in this regard.
The inextricable relationship between Mishimas acts and the conceptual structure of the Japanese pictorial and poetic tradition of the 18th and 19th centuries have offered us the opportunity to reinterpret key works of what is commonly called Ukiyo-e or, as the French prefer to translate , Paintings of the floating world. On the other hand, the reproduction techniques used by the Japanese artists of the time are the predecessors and promoters of the reproduction technique that we use in per(r)ucho for the production of our contents: risography, a Japanese duplication technique that draws of the xylographic past that gave birth to this fantastic artistic production.
