A fairytale science fiction that doubles as a fabulative analysis of how technology shapes ones identity. Patchworked together from text by various authors (such as Donna Haraway, Katherine Hayles, Reza Negarestani, Shirley Jackson, Ursula K. Le Guin,) used as dialogue, and own narration. Pixelated illustrations are used in a similar pattern-like manner, giving the book an anachronistic atmosphere. The story passes through digital and mythological landscapes as the main character, Ganymede, gets digitalized into a lich: an intellect-driven undead creature seeking eternal life.

About the author

Krist was born in a border city in Slovakia, cut in half by the river Danube and the border with Hungary. Raised bilingually, Hungarian and Slovakian, Krist believed to have two fathers, distinguishing them only by means of language. This is one root of her fascination of semiotics, and dual practice as a designer and writer.
